Reports suggest that they were also victims of gang rape. One of the women is around 40 years old, while the other is merely 21 years old. The perpetrators were caught during the violence.
The incident reportedly took place on May 4, 2023, but the video came to light in July. The main accused in this shameful incident, Huirem Herodas Meitei, a 32-year-old resident of Pechi Avang Leakai, has been arrested.
